Meet the Artist of Jewelry by JMAC
Jenny McClelland
Jenny's creative work began in grade school and blossomed in high school where her creativity branched out into many facets in the world of art. Jenny pursued her love of art in college by taking drawing, painting, and sculpting classes.
While in college her direction in life turned toward the medical field. Graduating from paramedic school in 1986, she worked in the Kansas City Metro area for 15 years.
While working as a paramedic her artist skills were always at work. She designed the paint schemes for two ambulance services. On down time from working, she begain doing pen and ink renderings of homes and buildings. Realtors hired her to draw homes their clients were moving into or out of. Jenny still enjoys drawing for many of her clients.
After retiring from the EMS field Jenny began making jewelry for family members while staying at home with her son. Friends began requesting that she make jewelry for them. Soon the jewelry making became a business.
